We exist to empower and revive the outdoor community of the Rogue Valley.

Who we can help

WHY IT’S NEEDED

Too many races and events in the Rogue Valley have disappeared — not because people stopped caring, but because organizers ran out of support.

We are a nonprofit built to remove those barriers.

We provide volunteers, equipment, marketing assistance and operational support to races, event organizers, non profits and local businesses working to create connections through outdoor recreation.

Entry to outdoor recreation events can include a lot of hurdles for community members: cost,
gear, time and training information. REC consolidates this information and makes it easily
accessible.

GOALS

     

      • Facilitate outdoor engagement and enjoyment for athletes of all backgrounds and skill levels, promoting active lifestyles and enjoyment.
      • Cultivate a robust network of volunteers and events within the community to organize sustainable, high-quality activities.
      • Promote the development of events that are attractive to significant sponsorship, enhancing their ability to support charitable causes effectively.
      • Enhance the appeal and consistency of local events through the establishment of a comprehensive calendar and points series.
      • Establish a centralized hub for events to streamline logistics, reduce insurance costs, recruit skilled volunteers, secure major sponsorships, and provide access to necessary equipment.
